D/R Bartender/Shift Manager

Description

Assist the Bar Manager and Shift Manager in daily duties.  Delegates work in the absence of the Shift Manager; fills in and assists all other employees in work.  Responsible for the set-up, maintenance, and operation of the bar.  Takes drink orders from patrons and waitstaff. Mixes ingredients for cocktails and serves wine and bottles or draft beer.  Enters drink orders into register, collects payment and makes change.  Wash and sterilizes glassware, prepares garnishes for drinks as well as prepare and replenish appetizers.

Requirements

Two years management experience preferred. Two years experience in a bar or restaurant with a minimum of one year bartending experience required. Knowledge in all aspects of lounge, deli, barista, restaurant and kitchen environments. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge of computer registers and POS systems required. Must have a valid food handler’s card and be able to demonstrate superior guest relation skills. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Promotions Assistant

Description

Assist Promotions Specialist in the development of promotional activities for the Emerald Queen Casino. Coordinates event requirements; prepare, set up and coordinate with other departments schedules.Develops promotional outlines for promotional activities within budget parameters.

Requirements

Minimum of two years marketing promotions experience required. Retail management and merchandising experience preferred. Strong communication skills with the ability to work closely with other departments. Good time management and organizational skills. Must be proficient in MS Office suite programs including desktop publishing and other marketing related programs. Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment.

Soft Count Lead

Description

Oversee the operation of the soft count room and its staff in the absence of the Soft Count Supervisor. Performs the count and recording of drop boxes in accordance to department policy and procedure.
