Pai Gow poker is played with a standard 52-card deck plus one joker. The joke is used only as an Ace or to complete straights and flushes and is not wild.
The 2-card hand must never rank higher than the 5-card hand. For players, this will result in an automatic loss.
Players may elect to take the bank and cover all action. The casino will bank and cover every other hand. In order to bank, a player must have played the previous hand against the Casino bank.
The random number generator/or dice distribute the hands.
A 5% commission is charged on winning player best. Player bankers pay 5% on their net win.
A fouled hand set by the player will automatically lose.
A fould hand set by the "player banker" will be reset the house way.
Each hand is settled in the following order:
1. Pai Gow Poker
2. Pai Gow Insurance
3. Emperor's Treasure Bonus Jackpot
4. Envy Bonus (After all hands thave been settled. If there are two or more qualifying hands each qualifying player would receive an envy bonus for each such hand.)
